Yesterday we woke up to about 2 inches of snow on the ground. It was sloppy, slushy and wet and a big surprise given it was the beginning of April and we had thought winter had left us. We looked on the positive side of things and quickly realized the snow was great for packing. We had tons of snow this past winter but with all the really frigid temps it never was good for making a snowman. I jumped on this opportunity to finally make the snowman we so wanted this past winter. We each rolled our own ball - Mommy the bottom, Jake the middle and Casey the top. Next we collected random items from the garage, and around the yard to make his eyes, mouth, and arms and hat. Casey added 2 small wood mulch pieces on top for Bunny Ears! I love this photo, Jake and Casey look super proud and happy with their creation. Happy Spring!
