Last night we received the sad news that Chris's grandmother Janice Nellen (from his mother's side) had passed away. As Chris would call her "A Tough Old Bird" -- lived to be 84 years old but had the spunk and wit of a young woman. In the past 5-10 years she's struggled with many illnesses and with strength and determination she fought her way through them. Unfortunately this past Sunday she suffered a major stroke and the complications that proceeded over the next fews days took her life. We are heading to Wisconsin tomorrow to be at the funeral on Monday. Grandma Nellen has 8 children, 20+ grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. We'll miss her very much.
