Silly Family Portrait

Not much has been going on here. Chris gets a 4 day weekend starting Friday. Our plans are to work on our basement painting project as much as we can. Sunday we'll do Easter stuff (church, easter egg hunt and a yummy meal). Our snow is melting but we still have cold temps in the high 30s. I'm ready for spring to arrive so we can get outside for longer periods of time. Late last week we reached 50 for one day and Jake and Casey spent and hour on their big wheels riding in the driveway. I drew a large race track for them. This summer our goal is to teach Casey how to pedal. If she figures it out she'll be able to bike side by side with big brother (instead of in the back).

This week I signed up the kids for Kindermusik classes. It's a music class introducing songs, rhythm, instruments, movement and so much more. Casey has class with me (18m-3yrs) on Mondays. Jake goes by himself (3-5 yrs) on Tuesdays. We are entering the semester late but we'll get 6 weeks of classes in before it ends. I'll post more later on what we've been doing in class.

This afternoon we are making Easter cookie cutouts (bunnies, butterflies and flowers). It's a big mess but fun as well.
