Even though it poured all day yesterday it didn't ruin my Mother's Day. To celebrate Jake and Daddy cooked up breakfast in bed for me. I received a handmade card by Jake with a drawing of our family on it. Later in the day we setup a picnic lunch in our living room and watched home videos. In the evening we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a new restaurant then we attended a Kindermusik class. Daddy got to see all the fun stuff we are learning in our music classes. We ended the evening with ice cream.
The day before Mother's day was gorgeous outside. Daddy, Jake and Casey planted 2 new trees in our front yard. It will be interesting to watch them grow over the years. Jake and Casey were great gardeners.
PS. If your wondering, yes we did pull out the black plastic rim when we finished planting the tree.
