"AT THE CARWASH"

HOT, HOT, HOT in Detroit today...with temps reaching up to the high 80s. We needed to cool off, so I deicded to take Jake and Casey outside to help wash my vehicle. Our very own CAR WASH! When we went to the basement to collect our bucket, sponges and car soap bubbles I noticed our big plan wasn't going to work. We were out of car soap. I called Daddy to see if it would be alright to use dish soap and he promptly said "no way". I didn't want to load up the kids in the car just to get soap, so we improvised. Instead of washing mommy's vehicle we proceeded to wash Jake and Casey's big wheels.







I poured lots of dish soap into our water table and gave Jake and Casey free reign to the hose. They quickly filled up their water table and bucket with soapy water. We then each took a sponge and cleaned off our big wheels. They especially liked it at the end when they could jump into the water table and clean themselves.

This was a fun afternoon playing in the sun.
